James Samuel Bedford was born in this place in 1853.  He married twice, was the father of 12 children and died in Leytonstone

Born about 1817, Mary Barnes eventually moved to Lowestoft where she married in 1839.

Born here in 1870, William Butcher moved to Durham where he worked in shipbuilding.

William Cole (born about 1821) moved to Alnwick, Northumberland.

Master mariner, James Snood, married in Great Yarmouth and then settled in Lowestoft.
